We are looking for a dynamic and technically proficient Sales Engineer . a leading provider of warehousing safety products. If you have a strong background in plastics, technical software, and industrial goods sales, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Technical Understanding:
In-depth knowledge of plastics (polymers – extrusion – rotational molding).
Proficiency in technical software such as Inventor, CAD, and Revit.
Technical expertise in selling industrial goods.
Understanding of warehousing industry, packaging, supply chain, distribution, packaging industry, petrochemical, cold chain logistics, and manufacturing.
✅ Field Visits:
Conduct field visits to warehouses, airports, factories, plants, and construction sites.
Ensure on-site presence for all product installations.
✅ Sales and Business Development:
Establish and maintain professional relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Collaborate with the Sales Manager to develop annual budgets and business plans.
Research market opportunities and provide competitive sales data.
Generate sales, meet margin objectives, and identify conversion opportunities.
Work with the marketing team to create awareness and demand for products.
Implement and coordinate goals, budgets, and objectives for successful sales operations.
✅ Customer Relations:
Maintain high-quality communication, service, and response to customer needs.
Elicit customer feedback on product satisfaction and future needs.
Manage collections and outstanding accounts.
✅ Internal Collaboration:
Communicate order specifications and customer expectations to the project team.
Ensure a high level of communication between customers and the in-house team.
Attend sales meetings and report sales activity and new account development.
Utilize sales reporting tools to manage time and sales efforts efficiently.
✅ Travel:
Willing to travel on sales calls within India.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in industrial goods.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.
Willingness to travel and attend on-site installations.
